eder Jensen Hegelund was son of Jens Andersen Guldsmed, married to Lisbeth Andersdatter Klyne. In one book, J. Kinch says that Peder is the son of Jens Andersen Klyne, but in another book, that he is the son of Jens Andersen Guldsmed. The date of Peder's graduation from Cathedral School do not fit with Jens Andersen Klyne's age, so I am sure J.A. Guldsmed was the father.
Peder's mother was the sister of Bishop Hegelund's wife, and he was evidently named after his illustrious uncle.
One very interesting thing I discovered by accident is that there is a beautiful painting of the daughter of Elisabeth and Clemens Pousen Bruun, In "Danmarks Kirker", look under Sanct Catharinae church in Ribe, for an epitaph of Knud Jorgensen Hauch and Sophie Christensen Clemensdatter Bruun.
