Cotton, dated 4-6-1988 Anne Rebekka Angell Hammer, nee Nicoll, died in Bergen November 29,1860, at the age of 48. She was a widow, and her late husband was taylor Ole Elias Hammer. Unfortunately, the probate court did not register the number or names of her children, but it seems very likely she is the mother of Philip William Hammer. However, I have not found the birth record of Philip William in Bergen 1839-1841, nor have I so far been able to find the marriage record of Ole Elias and Anne Rebekka.
