    November 1907 - Mr. Sherdahl traded the Spring Grove Hotel to Abel Gustav Krogh for some land in Cass County, Minnesota

    December 12, 1907 - Announcement -- Having purchased the hotel formerly conducted by B. Sherdahl, I wish to announce that I am now ready to serve the many people who are in search for good meals and rooms, and my aim will be to satisfy. A. G. Krogh

    Spring Grove Herald - March 19, 1908 - Sudden Death - On Thursday March 5, 1908, Abel Gustav Krogh died of heart failure. He had been complaining for about two weeks, but was able to be up and around, when on Thursday evening atabout nine o'clock he dropped dead. Mr. Krogh was born in Stavanger, Norway, August 4, 1844 and was united in marriage to Miss Guri Halverson in 1864. They came to America 21 years ago the 3rd of June, settling first in this village, remaining here about a year, moving on a farm near Newhouse. Emigrated May 13, 1887 to New York on the Tingvalla Line. Last November Mr. Krogh traded some land in Cass County to Mr. Sherdahl for the Spring Grove Hotel, which business he was conducting at the time of his death. He leaves a widow and six children, namely: Sam of Seattle, Washington, who was not present at the funeral, Mrs. Julius Gilbertson of Yucatan, Lind Krogh of Riceford, Mrs.Art Harstad of Black Hammer and John and Helen at home. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the N. E. L. church, Rev. St. S. Reque officiating.

    July 15, 1909 - J. P. Burns who for several months past has had charge of the Spring Grove Hotel, has retired from the hotel business and the former proprietor, Mrs. A. G. Krogh has again taken charge of same. We have not yet learned what Mr. Burns plans are for the future.
