May 31, 1928 - MRS HANNAH AMUNDSON BURIED ON SATURDAY -- Mrs. Hannah Amundson was born in Wisconsin on June 9, 1853. She was of the parents Hans Seversen and Ingeborg. They first moved to Iowa and later to Black Hammer where they lived for many years. Deceased married Aad Lee and to them five children were born, namely: a pair of twin boys who died in infancy; Belle died at the age of 17 years; Mrs. Charles Peterson of Decorah, Iowa and Knute Lee of this village. Her husband, Aad Lee, died in 1907 at Waukon and was buried in Spring Grove. In the year 1816 she was again united in marriage to Mr. Thor Amundson, who lived at Twin Valley, MN. About three months ago they moved toDecorah, Iowa. Mrs. Amundson had suffered a few strokes and died from complications. Deceased died on Tuesday May 22, 1928 and was buried on Saturday, May 26th. Rev. Johnson officiated.
